January, February, March, April 2010
Dear Faithful Servants of our Lord and
Savior
This year of 2010 is already starting off at a fast pace. Berita and I are in Starke, FL; and it is hard to believe that March 2010
is already here. January and February have been great months. We are thankful for eleven souls saved, and the move of God in the family
and revival meetings. A Friday night RU-Valentines banquet was a great time of fun, games, singing, preaching, and seeing the Lord work
in marriages marred by sin. God has protected us in many miles of snowy, icy weather from Tennessee to Kansas, and from Kansas back to NC.
The plane flights and trip to Trinidad was unforgettable. We will never forget the Wednesday night service when there was no electricity.
Sixty-five people came and would not leave. We had services with flashlights, candles, headlights and most of all...GOD'S LIGHT!! This was
Berita's first trip to minister on the mission field. She wept before God as we ministered in Trinidad.
I can't say thank you enough for your faithful prayer and monetary support. As the US economy weakens, our faith
in God must be strengthened. The church offerings are less, but our monthly support is increasing. God knows our every need, and He still
hears and answers prayer. During these unstable times, our faith must grow in the Lord. We must spend more time praying and more time in God's
Word. Berita and I are still committed to go anywhere to any sized church.
As you look at our calendar, March will be very busy. April, May, and June have some open Sundays and Wednesdays.
We are believing the Lord to fill these dates. It would be a good time to report to some of our supporting churches and visit family members that
live far from home.
As you pray, please remember to pray for our lost family members. Pray for those that have weak marriages and are
hurting over prodigal children. Struggling churches, pastors, and missionaries need prayer also. AGAIN, we love you and appreciate your support
of the Maynards
